Tips on how to get a long-lasting bronze tan fast

Summer means lots of sun and the most natural way to get a nice bronze tan are the sunbaths. The everlasting trend of golden tan and our desire to get it as fast as possible brings us to the dilemma on how to reach this without damaging our health. Here’s a list of our tips on the subject:



1. Healthy diet for a nice tan even before your first sunbath.

As you know, skin is the human body's largest organ. In order for the skin to function right, and if you want to get an amazing tan, you can add – to your daily diet – foods which sustain the natural production of lycopene. Lycopene is the natural SPF of the body. Foods rich in lycopene are: tomatoes, watermelon, grapefruit, and papaya. For a nice tan, you can eat more foods rich in antioxidants and polyphenols too. These include green tea, European blueberry, dark chocolate, aniseed.

Some foods can even reduce the risk of sunburn. These are carrots, almonds, pomegranate, and leafy veggies.
